Sms Templates are used when generating Bulk Sms's. The template allows you to store sms texts that can be easily re-used when generating sms's.
As Contact Database field tags can be inserted into Templates, they support personalised sms capability. Due to this, sms templates are always associated with a specific Contact Database.
When createing a Template, you will first be prompted to select the Database you wish to associate the template with (Step 1). Select the relevant database from the dropdown list
The Template form will then be displayed (Step 2). Add the name of your template and type in the required text.
To personalize the text to the intended recipient, use the field form (shown below) to insert the required fields into the sms text.
